Kettlebell Deadlifts | HOW TO
6m 3s
In this HOW TO I will be showing you how to deadlift using a kettlebell, some tips for successfully deadlifting with a kettlebell, and some come mistakes and errors I can see and how to fix them. Please complete the basics of Deadlifting before this video!
Props Needed: A stack of books, or a yoga block.
Why I love single Kettlebell deadlifts? They are a fantastic exercise for developing posterior chain strength, and training your hinge pattern. Because of the trajectory that the kettlebell travels in (ie. directly in front of your body), it can be a great way to learn how to keep your lats, and back engaged while performing a deadlift.
What to Keep in mind: Keep in mind that kettlebells come in many different shapes, and sizes. The one I am using is close to what we would call a competition style kettlebell. If yours is smaller it will look, and feel differently.
